We will give an honest appraisal on each kitten when they are published in our nursery, prices vary. We will grade kittens according to the Bengal Standard. Some kittens may show some faults that is not desirable for a breeding program, or as show quality kittens, but will however make wonderful pets! Sometimes we can have kittens with show, or breeding quality but still sell them as pets, you will be required to alter these as stated in the purchase contract.

This will be the guidelines on pricing Bengal Kittens from Kajumba Bengals;

We tend to think of kittens and cats in three quality bands :

• Show quality between $1500 - $2000
• Breeder quality: $1000 - 1400
• Pet quality between $700-$950

Show quality

This should be kittens with no significant faults. No full rib bares, glitter to be seen easily, short sleek coat, muscular with good strong bones. The cat should also show strong contrast between spots and background color with a crisp spotting pattern.

Breeder quality

There could be one major fault (i.e a whip tail or full rib stripes) or just a few much smaller faults BUT otherwise a nicer-looking cat than normal quality. This means that a prospective breeder would expect some kittens from this cat to show the appearance flaw, but in kittens where flaws don't appear would be of show quality. Even if a kitten is praised as of breeding quality, does not necessarily mean you must buy kitten with breeding rights, these kittens can also be sold as pets for a slightly higher price then kittens of pet quality.

Normal or Pet quality

To us this means several show faults or more than one major fault(i.e a locket). The cat might show glitter - but maybe only very slightly, if placed in just the right light. The markings may be indistinct, with less contrast between spots versus background coat and there may be little color in the background coat. All kittens in this category must be spayed/netured, according to purchase contract.

Deposit Policies

A deposit of $200 for Pet quality, and $300 for Breeder/Show quality will hold kitten until balance due date, and kitten will not be sold to another buyer, for this reason the deposit is not refundable. The deposit will be applied towards the balance owing on the purchase price, as stated in purchase contract.When payment is payed in full, or cash cleared, your kitten will be ready to ship, or picked up from our home.
